Hi, I’m David. My blog is about the things that I’m passionate about:

Cycling – it has been a constant in my life, it’s there in moments of joy and sadness, clarity and distraction, solitude and camaraderie. I’ve built bikes, raced competitively, and coached others in the sport. Above all, I find my greatest happiness cycling in the mountains. Simply put, I love cycling.
3D printing – I got my first 3D printer in 2018, and it was mesmerizing to watch it go. What fascinates me most is the ability to turn an idea from my imagination into something tangible—as long as I can model it, I can bring it to life. It feels like creating something out of nothing (well, almost nothing).
Scrum – I’ve experienced both bad scrum and good scrum—the lows where things felt disjointed and the highs where everything clicked. I was a scrum master for many years, I learnt how I could make scrum work to create environments where people felt supported, collaborated effortlessly, and genuinely cared for one another. It was unexpected and amazing.
